Generation limits
To manage costs and prevent abuse, we impose reasonable daily limits on fresh AI generations. Anonymous users and free accounts have separate limits. Viewing cached explanations or published pages does not count against your limit.
Accounts
Accounts are optional. You do not need to sign in to use the explanation tool. If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials. Your explanation history and saved items are private to you.
Public content
Published explainer pages are curated by our editorial team. Your private explanations are not published without explicit admin review. You may share links to private explanations, but this does not make them publicly indexed content.
Limitation of liability
Simple Explainer is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for damages arising from the use of AI-generated explanations. The service is provided for educational purposes and should not be relied upon as a sole source of truth for important decisions.
